We have new details about Tiger Woods‘ arrest!
As we previously reported, the 50-year-old professional golfer was arrested for driving under the influence on Friday following a rollover car crash in Jupiter, Florida. Neither his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, nor her daughters, Kai and Chloe, were in the vehicle with him at the time of the accident. Police later confirmed Tiger was alone.
According to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, the athlete allegedly was “lethargic” and believed he was not under the influence of alcohol, but “some type of medication or drug” instead. He was ultimately charged with DUI, as well as causing property damage and refusing to submit to the urinalysis test before being taken to the Martin County Jail, where he had to stay for eight hours.

Now, more information about what happened that day have emerged. Budensiek revealed the accident happened at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday. He explained that a pickup truck was turning into a driveway on a two-lane street when a Range Rover came down the street at a high speed. The driver of the pickup truck tried to turn into a driveway, but because Tiger was allegedly driving so fast, the truck could not fully enter the driveway, and he clipped the back end of the vehicle.
Yikes…
Tiger’s Range Rover ended up flipping over on the driver’s side. He managed to climb out of the passenger window of the car. According to Page Six, photos taken of the scene showed him standing on the side of the road, using his phone near his vehicle. Other images showed skid marks on the street and the grass of the residential area. See HERE.
Shortly after the accident, cops arrived. They reportedly quickly noticed that Tiger appeared impaired and lethargic, and they conducted a breathalyzer test, which registered a 0.00%. As we mentioned, Budensiek thinks the Tiger was under the influence of medication. However, he refused to take a urinalysis at the police station that could test for the presence of other drugs or medications. The sheriff noted no drugs or alcohol were found in his vehicle.
Budensiek also revealed that Tiger said he had various surgeries. While they considered that while assessing him, the sheriff said he failed the various field sobriety tests, and they arrested him. You can see his mugshot (below):

Tiger has since been released from jail on bail. Page Six reported he was seen sitting in the front passenger seat of a Cadillac SUV just before midnight on Friday after exiting the back door of the Martin County Jail to avoid the media. See pics HERE.
