Many different reports over the last two months have claimed that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady proposed to his model girlfriend, Brazilian beauty Gisele Bundchen.
First, it was reported that they got engaged during the Christmas holidays. Then it was denied.
Then People mag “confirmed” that the couple got engaged in early January and that the two were going to get married, possibly even in Costa Rica.
But, now we’re hearing it from the horse’s model’s mouth. And Gisele is telling the world they are NOT engaged.
In a recent interview with the Brazilian mag Caras, she opens up about the whole marriage hoopla.
Says Bundchen, ├óΓé¼┼ôI don├óΓé¼Γäót know how people are so creative. First they said he proposed to me in a plane.”
And she explains, “Imagine, it was Dec. 24, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date. Ready? Someone deduced I was getting engaged! I received more than 100 e-mails from friends commenting about the proposal. Now there├óΓé¼Γäós a new rumor, that he proposed to me on last Friday. I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót even there, how can that be true?├óΓé¼┬¥
She does add that she’ll probably marry Tom some time in the future, though a date has yet to be set.
And what about the reports of a wedding in Costa Rica?
She says, “This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there. I don├óΓé¼Γäót know yet if it├óΓé¼Γäós going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it├óΓé¼Γäós going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don├óΓé¼Γäót like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.├óΓé¼┬¥
