Tom Cruise has some interesting plans for Father’s Day next month, but do they involve spending time with any of his kids?
During a red carpet interview with E! News at the New York City premiere of Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, the 62-year-old actor was asked about his “ideal” plans for the holiday since it “is just around the corner,” and his response was a bit awkward! Tom paused before responding:
“You know…”
He then looked off into the distance while shaking his head:
“Just having fun, man. Making movies, big adventures, having a great time.”
Yeesh! Not one mention of any of his three children! And we know why he doesn’t bring up Suri! He is estranged from the 19-year-old daughter of Katie Homles and has been for years! Tom reportedly not only doesn’t want a relationship with the teen, he can’t have one because she’s not a Scientologist. And she seems to feel the same way! She wants nothing to do with her dad! Suri dropped his last name when she graduated high school last year, going by Suri Noelle instead. So we doubt they’ll be spending Father’s Day together this year or any year afterward!
As for his other two kids, Connor and Isabella, whom he adopted with ex-wife Nicole Kidman? Tom still seems to have a relationship with them! So, what gives? Hmm. Watch his cringe interview (below):
