Tom Holland‘s dad Dominic Holland just confirmed his son’s engagement!
Over on the Brit’s Patreon on Friday, Dominic opened up about his son’s exciting proposal to Zendaya, which she seemingly confirmed last weekend by stepping on the red carpet at the Golden Globes wearing a ring on that finger and playfully shrugging and showing off her bling when asked if her beau had finally popped the question.
We’ve heard from TMZ sources that the engagement went down sometime between Christmas and New Year’s while the couple was staying with the Euphoria star’s family in the US (though no other relatives were actually around for the big moment). It was all supposedly super intimate and private, just like their relationship has always been.

Well, the author confirmed all this while sharing that the Spider-Man star was “very incredibly well prepared” to ask his longtime partner to marry him. The proud father gushed:
“He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…”
Aw, so cute!
Tom really took this so seriously. Love that!
Dominic went on to note that he sometimes does “fret” over the duo’s “combined stardom,” worrying how fame might put more “demands on them” and complicate things, but he has faith they’ll continue to handle their unique set of relationship challenges as they’ve always done, writing:
“I am completely confident they will make a successful union.”
Wonderful! As Perezcious readers know, the actor reportedly asked Z’s father and mother months in advance, so he had lots of time to prepare and perfect the proposal! We’re sure it was a beautiful moment. Hopefully, one day, the happy lovebirds will tell us more about it. Fingers crossed. LOLz!
