Kayla Nicole‘s close friendship with Brittany Mahomes is no more after she broke up with Travis Kelce!
As you know by now, Kayla is Trav’s most recent ex before he started dating Taylor Swift. She’s been open about her feelings on their relationship ever since they got together, and has even talked a bit about their breakup. Now, the YouTube star is opening up about her falling out with the Kansas City Chiefs WAGs.

On Angel Reese‘s Unapologetically Angel podcast Thursday, the WNBA star asked Kayla if she was still close with any of the KC ladies after her 2022 breakup with the tight end. She was seemingly shocked by the question, but decided to answer brutally honestly:
“Yes, I was.”
Oof!
When Angel doubled down and asked about friendship specifically, Kayla said:
“We were cool [but] we are not as cool as we once were.”
In fact, she went on to say the transition post-breakup was really “hard” because of how close she used to be to the girls:
“That was family.”

Of course, the influencer didn’t name-drop anyone, but it’s common knowledge that she and Patrick Mahomes‘ wife Brittany were as close as sisters through her six year relationship with Trav. Now it’s pretty clear Brittany and Taylor are the new bestie duo, and Kayla isn’t a part of that friendship anymore. Awkward…
