Travis Kelce is PISSED at Donald Trump for his new comment about Taylor Swift!
Over the past year, the President has been coming after the 35-year-old singer because she endorsed Kamala Harris during the last election. He posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” and threw shade at her when she got booed and her boyfriend lost the Super Bowl in February. However, it’s his latest dig that sent Travis over the edge. While seemingly on a flight back from the Middle East on Friday, Trump posted to Truth Social:
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”

The politician didn’t elaborate on the post, but he likely tried to say Taylor is ugly or unpopular now. Regardless, the comment was just false and unnecessary. She shouldn’t be continuously bashed by Trump for exercising her right to endorse Kamala.
Naturally, the 78-year-old enraged the Swifties. He even got Travis heated, too! According to a Dailymail.com insider on Friday, the football player is furious at Trump for attacking Taylor once again! While Travis wants to say something, he knows he cannot “open another can of worms” at this time! The pop star has bigger fish to fry right now, all thanks to her former best friend Blake Lively! So what does he plan to do instead? Sit back and take it? No, he’s channeling his anger and frustration into work instead! The source explained:
“Travis is livid that the President of the United States is talking negatively about Taylor. He is so mad that he is going to use it as motivation during training for the season ahead, especially if Trump continues talking. Since Travis can’t say anything publicly because that would just open another can of worms, he has to figure out ways to get it out of his system because he would love to protect Taylor and stick up for her. But keeping quiet is the move he has to do right now.”
There is no point in wasting time or energy getting into it with Trump about his remarks, anyway!
However, Travis is not only worried about escalating drama with him! He also has to think about how responding would potentially threaten his friendship with Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, who seemingly are supporters of Trump. Fortunately, the insider noted the whole situation isn’t causing any tension with the couple — for now:
“One thing that is good, is it isn’t causing any drama with his teammates as of yet, especially with Brittany Mahomes being a Trump supporter, there is no ill will with Patrick. They don’t talk about politics around each other.”
Phew! One less feud for Tay and Travis to worry about!
Ultimately, the tight end can’t stand the digs aimed at the Evermore artist. The source said:
“But as of right now, Travis just hates that Taylor has to be brought up in these conversations, especially from a man who is supposed to be protecting and serving all Americans. It is very frustrating.”
Hopefully, this is the last jab at Taylor from Trump but that is probably wishful thinking at this point.
