Travis Kelce has nothing but great things to say about this Blake Lively project, even after all her drama surrounding It Ends With Us!
During the new episode of the New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Jason Kelce asked what his “guilty pleasure shows” are, “something you’re slightly embarrassed to admit.” Travis’ answer? It may come as a surprise! Before anyone says it, it is not a Ryan Murphy show like Glee or American Horror Story! It turns out the 34-year-old football player was a massive fan of watching Gossip Girl — the same show Taylor Swift’s best friend starred in for six seasons as the iconic Serena van der Woodsen! He said:
“I used to not tell everybody that I watched Gossip Girl growing up.”

Jason joked that his brother “should be embarrassed about that.” Jeez! However, Travis is not ashamed to admit he loved every second of it! He doubled down, saying:
“Dude, it’s so good though.”
For his part, the former Philadelphia Eagles center never watched the popular CW series. He even double checked and questioned if Travis meant to say Gilmore Girls. LOLz! But no, he meant Gossip Girl! The Grotesquerie star then went on to give a shout-out to Blake for her “awesome” show, saying:
“If you watch [‘Gossip Girl,’] you can get in deep. Oh, my god. Chace Crawford. Blake Lively. Shoot me, but I forget the rest of the names of the cast. But I mean, it’s awesome. It’s a New York high school show with a lot of drama and basically everybody gossiping and talking s**t on each other.”
What a glowing review from Trav! Ha! Given the backlash Blake has faced following the release of It Ends With Us, though, we are surprised to see him mention her — even when it is about the show! Not even Tay Tay has publicly talked about her bestie since then! But ultimately, Travis and Jason said they were not embarrassed about the shows they enjoyed. As the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told listeners:
“I don’t care. You can’t judge me dude. It is what it is.”
So that’s that! Watch the podcast episode (below):
