Sad.
As of today, approximately 20 doctors have been issued subpoenas requesting they give up evidence in connection to the death of actor Corey Haim.
Whether these doctors were involved in the drug ring Corey was previously connected to is unknown, but sources believe that this step with further fuel the theory that Corey died of drug overdose.
To fuel the fire, though the cause of death still remains a mystery, California’s Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr. revealed the actor had obtained an illegal order for painkiller OxyContin, which may be another reason the twenty doctors received subpoenas.
However, how helpful the doctors will be is yet to be seen. Already, seven of the docs claim to have never even having met Corey, much less prescribe medications to him.
This is sure to get much worse before it gets any better. Very sad.
