Bono Suddenly Stops U2 Show Mid-Concert After Losing His Voice -- Watch

Get well soon, Bono!
The U2 frontman was performing with the band on Saturday night in Berlin, and after they got a few songs deep into their set in front of a sold-out, raucous audience, things started to go wrong.

It was weird — Bono’s voice completely gave out after sounding completely normal for a few songs… and then it couldn’t seem to return, no matter what.
You can see the moment he realizes something is starting to go wrong at about the four-minute mark of the video (above), and how he tries his best to comfort fans and let them know what’s up.
After a while, when it was clear things weren’t going to get better, they had to postpone the show — and per TMZ, the band released the following statement (below):

“We’re so sorry for tonight’s cancellation. Bono was in great form and great voice prior to the show and we were all looking forward to the second night in Berlin, but after a few songs, he suffered a complete loss of voice. We don’t know what has happened and we’re taking medical advice.”

Sad! And so sudden/unexpected/weird!!
Get well soon, Bono!
