Justin Combs is the son of Diddy.
He also received a $54,000 scholarship to UCLA to play football.
Should those two facts correlate?
Some tax payers are raving mad that the son of the multimillionaire got a full ride to a top-tier university, but the young man doesn’t think he has anything to apologize for.
Here’s what he said:
“Regardless what the circumstances are, I put that work in!!!! ‘PERIOD.’ Regardless of what you do in life every1 is gonna have their own opinion. Stay focused, keep that tunnel vision & never 4get why u started.”
UCLA is also defending its decision, here’s what a spokesperson said:
“There is a big separation between financial aid based on need and how that’s funded and how athletic scholarships are funded and awarded to students.”
We think it’s good that Justin earned his own way for school, and as long as it doesn’t affect other less fortunate students then we don’t see why the rapper’s son shouldn’t accept the scholarship.
Right?
