We├óΓé¼Γäóve all been there: Eating a Whopper at Burger King and wishing more than anything that it was covered in…Brussels sprouts.
Actually, that sounds awful, but it’s exactly what UK Burger Kings have been serving up lately. Most UK residents hate the idea.
One such person posted on Facebook:
“Well done, you’ve taken the nations least liked vegitable [sic], gonna fry it, and sell it for an extortionate [sic] price, congratulations bk. You never cease to amaze me. Ultimate fail 2010.”
Burger King is confident that it can change customers’ minds, saying:
“Hi BKers ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ sorry to hear some of you weren’t too keen on the idea of the Sprout Surprise Whopper yesterday, but we’re confident that The King can make even Brussels Sprouts taste good!”
We’re not so sure! Plus, even with a few Brussels sprouts on top, it’s still a burger!
