Entertainment Tonight sat down with Usher for an interview about his new life and split from older wife Tameka Foster.

On filing for divorce, but being in a “good space”:
“I’d hate for them to assume that. If there’s any turmoil I think it’s managing all of it, but having an incredible team that helps me do that it makes it very easy, or easier than it would normally be attempting to do it myself.”On his new album:
“Every bit of music that I’ve ever made is either from a personal place or has been lived out.”On being a dad to two boys under age 2:
“What I do is, I try to get [my work] done and get home on the weekends if possible … but when I’m with my boys it’s just all about them.”
We’re sure traipsing around with a bunch of hos makes it difficult to get home on weekdays!
His boys must love seeing their weekend father!
