It’s official! They’re splitting – and have been over for a while!

Why did Usher and ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond even bother trying to pretend they were still together??

The couple, who filed for divorce in Atlanta on Friday, have been living “separate lives” for months now!

“He’s done his best to keep Tameka away,” a friend close to the R&B star revealed to People Magazine.

Tameka has been taking care of the kids, 18-month-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd, while Usher has been concentrating on recording his new album in Las Vegas.

Their split is definitely for the better, don’t U think??
