Did the cast of Vanderpump Rules know something was up with Raquel Leviss long before her affair with Tom Sandoval was exposed?! It seems that way based on the latest episode of the Bravo series!
For those who don’t know, Ariana Madix ended her relationship with Sandoval after nine years of dating when she discovered he cheated on her with Raquel. And it wasn’t just a one-time thing. They had been sneaking behind her back for MONTHS! And it’s only getting worse as we learned he possibly cheated on both of them with yet another woman. But that’s the present (and the future).
Amid this drama, new episodes for season 10 of Vanderpump Rules have been coming out giving us a peek at the past. And of course, fans are now looking at each scene with a fine tooth comb for hints about the affair situation — especially since they were filming the series when the two were secretly hooking up (reportedly for SEVEN MONTHS!). And boy, was there A LOT of clues packed in this week’s show! So buckle up!

Although Raquel’s affair with Sandoval was not known at the time, the 28-year-old’s behavior were still bothering many of her castmates. Before this whole mess, Raquel was already facing backlash for making moves on Tom Schwartz despite he and Katie Maloney agreeing to not date within the friend group after breaking up. Raquel even admitted to his ex-wife that she asked him to make out with her one night.
So during Wednesday’s episode, when Ariana and Katie were shopping with the former pageant queen for bikinis a big Vegas girls’ trip, the topic of the Raquel/Schwartz situation came up once again. Ariana said at the time:
“You asked Schwartz if he wanted to make out. I was like, ‘Am I about to be mad at Raquel for the first time?”
And to think, she was just defending her friend. If only she knew back then how mad she would be at her months later. Ariana added in a confessional:
“We’ve been encouraging Raquel to get out there and make mistakes. Go crazy. But then when she says that she asked Schwartz to make out it’s like, ‘OK, but not like that.’”
When the cast said to “make mistakes” and “go crazy,” they definitely did not mean to have an affair with Ariana’s longtime partner either! It’s all so messed up knowing what we know now.
Viewers then saw Katie talking with Kristina Kelly about her decision to invite Raquel — and not Scheana Shay — on her trip even though she attempted to get with Schwartz. While the You’re Gonna Love Me host believed Raquel owned up for her mistakes, Kristina, on the other hand, felt Raquel was given way too much of a pass. She said in a confessional:
“I feel like I’m the only one who isn’t falling for Raquel’s sweet and innocent act. People walk around treating her like a little baby but that’s an insult to babies.”
Wow! Kristina called it a mile away!
From there, Katie, Kristina, Ariana, Raquel, and Lala Kent all jetted off to Sin City. When they arrived at the Paris hotel, Lala and Kristina showed Raquel a piñata of Schwartz they brought for the trip. The Give Them Lala podcast host then asked the SUR waitress:
“Are you turned on?”
To which Raquel replied:
“Um… I’m not not turned on. … I’m just kidding.”
They gave her a look before Lala said:
“I feel like she’s not kidding.”
Hmm…
The group later went out to dinner at Vanderpump Paris, where Lala and Raquel ended up having a crush on their server Oliver Saunders, AKA Garcelle Beauvais’ son. Lala called “dibs” on the guy after finding out he was supposedly separated from his wife now, but Raquel was the one who got super flirty with him. Not exactly stealing a man, but… not respecting dibs? Not a good look. Soon, they began to talk about how Scheana might have pushed for Raquel and Schwartz to hook up — something Lisa Vanderpump, who joined them for dinner, was shocked about. Raquel claimed the podcast host “put the idea in my head” — but Lisa wasn’t having it! The RHOBH alum exclaimed:
“Come on! You gotta take some responsibility in that. You were actually thinking that might be a good idea? Come on!”
You tell her, Lisa! Lolz. Raquel noted she “straight up” told Katie about asking Schwartz if he wanted to kiss. But that’s when Katie’s mom jumped in to say that her daughter “hurts inside” about the divorce and doesn’t show it often, adding that they haven’t even finished the divorce or sold their house yet. Katie tearfully added in a confessional:
“What I’m going through is f**king really hard. I don’t think Raquel’s fully, like, got it? Tom’s not just some dude I dated. He was our family. So, if she’s gotta hear it from my mom, she’s gotta hear it from my mom.”
After dinner, the girls went to a club called Discopussy — and Oliver showed up to hang out with them. After talking with him for a bit, Raquel admitted she sensed an attraction between Lala and Oliver and felt “awkward” about making a move on him. But what she was really doing was asking permission. What a shady move. While Lala gave James Kennedy’s ex-fiancé her “stamp of approval to hook up with” him, she couldn’t help but point out how odd the whole thing was then:
“It is strange to me, though. Raquel had zero interest in Oliver until I said, ‘Damn! He kinda foine.’ And then, all of a sudden, she’s treating this like a pageant and is in competition mode with me.”
Whoa. Is she saying Raquel just wants other women’s men? She really picked up on something there!
At the end of the episode, Raquel and Oliver are seen making out on the dance floor. But here’s where viewers undoubtedly will have their jaws on the floor. A teaser for next week’s episode shows Lala confronting Raquel about “stealing her man.” She says in the promo:
“I will say this: you drinking? I would never trust you around my man.”
Shocking the group, Raquel fires back:
“Thank god you don’t have a man to, like, f**king have around.”
OMG! What?! Who reacts to something like that?
