Vincent Kartheiser has been acting for 20 years, but proposing to Alexis Bledel gave him one big case of stage fright!
So what’s a veteran actor to do? Rehearse, obvi! But with whom?
Well, when you’re surrounding by so many ridiculously attractive people, who can pick just one? Vincent practiced his proposal on his Mad Men costars Elisabeth Moss and Jessica Par├â┬⌐! Jessica says:
“It was purely comedic but he was giving [Elisabeth] and I a facetious rendition of his planned proposal.
We were like, ‘Great! Lets do this one without cursing and without yelling!'”
Ha! Yeah, that choice might not have gone over so well!
We’re glad he practiced first! Though we are a little disappointed it wasn’t on Jon Hamm!
Of course, from what we understand, getting on your knees in front of Jon Hamm can get pretty awkward…
