Viola Davis Represents Abused Circus Elephants! She's Got Their BIG Backs!

Viola Davis is really good at playing strong women in film.
We’re starting to realize it’s possible she’s so good at acting those parts because she IS a strong woman in real life!
On behalf of PETA, the award winning actress wrote to the Senator Susan Sosnowski of Rhode Island, and urged her to end the maltreatment of elephants that travel with some circuses.
Here’s some of what she said:

“[I] urge you to support S.B. 813, which would prohibit inhumane treatment of elephants used in circuses, including the use of a bullhook├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥a device with a sharp hook on the end that resembles a fireplace poker and is used to hurt and punish elephants.”

Wow, we never realized how many circuses do such horrible things to elephants!!!
We used to think the circus was fun when we were young, but if we ever went nowadays – we’d probably just get sick. The whole time we would just be thinking about how poorly they treat circus animals!
We FULLY support Viola and her crusade to end this inhumane treatment of circus elephants!!!
