Turns out stoners don’t make for the best criminals.
In dumb criminal news unrelated to the 2016 presidential election, a group of teens broke into a weed dispensary and stole several pounds of… oregano.
Police told Colorado Springs’ local KKTV 11 news teens crashed a stolen van into the storefront of Native Roots in front of multiple eyewitnesses.

The employee who called the cops said:
“I was coming out from work, and all of a sudden we heard this big old crash… [The suspects] came out with bunches of marijuana in their arms.”
But the owner set the record straight — it wasn’t cannabis at all!
In the display they didn’t have any real marijuana, just oregano — a less potent, more delicious herb!
Sadly, they did cause quite a bit of property damage and are thought to have robbed a liquor store up the street as well. Presumably they got all the apple juice in the place.
Thus far, the suspects have not been caught — but it’s only a matter of time with these geniuses.
