Wendy Williams is single and ready to mingle… or at least ready to talk about who she wouldn’t mind mingling with!
The 54-year-old talk show host publicly acknowledged that she’s a “single woman” a week after filing for divorce from her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter — and we have Jason Momoa to thank for it.
The declaration came during Friday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show when the host was discussing a very Hot Topic: the Aquaman star’s clean-shaven face. As we reported, Momoa shaved off his beard for the first time since 2012 and sent the internet into a frenzied debate of whether he was hotter with or without a Dothraki aesthetic.

Now emancipated from her 22-year marriage, the TV personality happily shared her thoughts on the topic of Momoa’s current f**kability. And, for the record, she’s very pro-beard.
Acknowledging that the Game of Thrones alum was still “very hot” clean-shaven, Wendy argued that without the Drogo look, the 39-year-old was just another very hot guy. She explained:
“Just observing him as a single woman, I have to tell you that the newly shaved Jason Momoa just looks like another hot guy in the streets. I mean, very hot. But, just another one. Whereas this look right here with all the hair … separates him.”
A clean-shaven Momoa is definitely still something to fantasize about, she added, but more of a general fantasy as opposed to specific fantasies involving tent play and Khal Drogo pouring liquid gold on you.
Sorry… uh… what were we talking about?
Oh, right! Wendy Williams being single.
She joked about Momoa’s new look:
“He looks terrible… like you want him to do terrible things to you.”
Ha!
Not only is Wendy’s new single status brining this essential commentary out of her, it’s apparently given the mother-of-one her entire groove back.

Earlier this week, sources told Us Weekly that the TV personality “had a renewed pep in her step” during a Monday afternoon taping of her eponymous talk show, with the source adding that she “looked really relieved and was acting like her old self.”
This is a complete 180 for the daytime diva, who just a couple months ago had relapsed after reportedly finding out that Kevin had knocked up his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson. But Wendy bounced right back weeks later, and was clearly ready to detox her allegedly unfaithful hubby from her system.
Days after Wendy served her husband the divorce papers, she reportedly fired him from his job as executive producer on her show. Now, she’s free to discuss important topics like Jason Momoa’s beard as much as she wants to… and we are so grateful for that.
