When Old People Attack, On-Air!

When you get old, you tend forget there is such a thing as “socially acceptable conversation.”

When you are as old as Tony Curtis, you just say whatever the eff you want, when you want, even if you are on the radio.

To be fair, Tony was under the impression that his segment this morning for BBC Radio was being pre-recorded when he called some journalists “bastards”, described being nominated for an Oscar in 1958 as “bullshit” and, to make things really interesting, said “fuck off” to the host.

However, the show was actually live and all his expletive language went straight out into the airwaves at 1 o’clock in the afternoon!

Needless to say, the station is in trouble with the Brit version of the FCC, Ofcom. They received a crippling total of 2 phone calls about the incident, which suggests to us that either people didn’t really care and aren’t as closed minded as these government regulation offices seem to think they are or no one was listening to begin with.

Who knows, but you got to hand to to the old geezer: he’s still got spunk!
