Arsenio Hall Fights Tears While Talking About His Old Friend Whitney Houston - Watch Video HERE

We had to fight back our own tears while watching this video!
On his show Wednesday night, Arsenio Hall sat down with actress Tika Sumpter, who stars in Tyler Perry’s new TV series The Haves and the Have Nots.
Tika was also lucky enough to have worked with the late Whitney Houston, playing her daughter in the movie Sparkle, which wound up being Whitney’s final feature film.
The interview took an emotional turn after Tika shared a story about how kind Whitney was to her on the set, explaining:

“Whitney was everything. You├óΓé¼Γäód be sitting in a corner, and I’d be just kind of quiet, they’d be changing for the set-up, and she’s like, ‘You okay, baby? Who do I need to talk to to make sure you’re all right?’ And I’m like, ‘I’m good’ and she’s like, ‘All right, I got you.’ She was just like a mother.├óΓé¼┬¥

Arsenio was visibly fighting back tears, remembering his longtime friend. He added:

“She was a great girl. She was always a big supporter. She would have loved that I’m doing this again.├óΓé¼┬¥

Whitney made several appearances on Arsenio├óΓé¼Γäós first talk show during its 5-year run in the ’80s and ’90s. The singer died suddenly in February of 2012 before the relaunch of Arsenio on late night TV.
It’s still so sad to think she’s really gone.
