Sad news.
Eunice Sanborn, a Jacksonville native and the world’s oldest person, died at 6 AM on Monday at the age of 115.
Her adopted son and caretaker, David French, said that she passed peacefully:
“The Lord just called her home. He had been using her as a powerful witness for 115 years. It was a very peaceful death. She was not uncomfortable.”
She lived to see the turn of two centuries — what a life!
