Country Singer Zach Bryan Apologizes For Shading Taylor Swift In ‘Drunken’ Tweet Supporting Kanye West!

Country singer Zach Bryan has immediate regrets after shading Taylor Swift!

On Tuesday, the musician took to X (Twitter) to seemingly strike up a beef with Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce by not only criticizing them BOTH but bringing up her feud with Kanye West! He wrote:

“Eagles > chiefs
Kanye > Taylor
Who’s with me”

Daaaang!

Pretty quickly, the Swifties went after Zach, and he soon deleted his entire account amid the backlash. But on Thursday morning, he was ready to explain himself, and he posted a LENGTHY statement on his Instagram Story apologizing to the Anti-Hero artist and her loyal fans. Along with a link to her song Fortnight with Post Malone, the Something in the Orange crooner wrote:

“for the record guys I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night. I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong.”

Hmm. There was NO indication he was comparing any specific songs, so he can’t really say fans just misunderstood him, can he? Regardless, he knows a lot about the musicians’ feud and how controversial the Yeezy designer is these days, making him backtrack on his bold stance. He continued:

“I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye and I was speaking purely musically. I love Taylor’s music and pray you guys know I’m human and tweet stupid things often. Hope one day I can explain this to her. Twitter gets me in trouble too much and I’d say it’s best I stay off it. I’m sorry to any Taylor fans I pissed off or let down. Love you guys and I’m trying my best!”

He then posted a link to The Albatross, adding that this rude tweet was likely a result of too much alcohol and personal challenges. He expressed:

“I’ve been going through a hard time in my own life and I think I was projecting a little. To be completely honest, it just came off as rude and desensitized to Taylor. I respect her so much as a musician that the last thing I want is people thinking I don’t appreciate and love what she has done for music. Okay, that’s the last of it! Love you guys and hope you guys understand. Don’t drink and tweet. Don’t drink and tweet!!”

Yeah, social media and substances are just NEVER a good combo! He learned that the hard way! Really sucking up to the Grammy winner, the Revival singer added in another slide:

“Not saving face here, but Taylor has been a force of nature for as long as we’ve all been growing up and I admire that. I’m gonna go listen to this record now [Castles Crumbling], I never want people to think I have a hint of malice or meanness towards anyone, ever, that’s why I’m saying all this. Everyone have the best day of all time, I love ya”

At least he was somewhat aware of how much it sounded like it was just kissing Tay’s ass! LOLz!

On a more serious note, the 28-year-old said he’d be taking some space from social media amid his hectic schedule to avoid any more blunders like this. Zach concluded:

“This year has been an awful lot on me in personal ways that no one knows and I’ve been trying to cope and balance too many things at once. So I’m going to take a breather from tweeting stupid stuff, finish my tour, and ground myself somehow in the midst of all this. I feel very, very blessed each day. Not taking it for granted and holding onto it has been so important to me.”

Life’s hard and people make mistakes! But let this be a reminder: if you don’t have nice things to say, just don’t say anything at all! He may have been drunk, but he KNEW this was gonna cause controversy, too. Any comparison between Taylor and Ye would! So, next time, just don’t poke the bear. It ain’t worth it! Reactions, Perezcious readers?? Sound OFF (below)!
