'Ghost Adventures' Star Zak Bagans Got Physically Sick After Visiting The Real Life 'Conjuring' House!

Zak Bagans may have encountered his most sinister supernatural nemesis yet.

The star of Ghost Adventures, the Travel Channel’s highest-rated series, has investigated many haunted locations throughout the world with his team. But no property has given him a physical case of the heebie jeebies like the 300-year-old Rhode Island home of the Perron family, whose experiences inspired the movie The Conjuring.

After spending time at the allegedly haunted location, the beloved paranormal investigator said he became physically ill for weeks!

He explained to People

“This house made me sick, and I did not recover from this investigation for about three weeks. It took everything out of me. My body wasn’t functioning right. My balance. This place is haunted by something I believe is very ancient.”

Gulp.

The Perron family would likely agree with Bagans’ theory. Over the years, they allegedly suffered physical attacks and dealt with what they said was possession.

They sought help in 1971 from famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who claimed the spirit they confronted in the house was the most malicious they ever encountered.

Now, decades later, Bagans has reopened the case files — and the doors of the home — for a new Halloween 2019 special.

Explaining now his cameras were the first allowed into the home in 15 years, Bagans said:

“As an investigator, this is the ultimate place to go because of the history. Being able to get inside of the house and back inside of this case, reopen these files, learn some things that people don’t know about this investigation, was just an absolute thrill.”

Not to mention, an absolute chill!

Over their days-long investigation, Bagans said he and his team — including Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley — experienced “some really incredible things,” continuing:

“When we were using infrared binoculars, we captured this black mass blocking the light and the window of the house.”

Spooky!

The evidence they found was enough for Bagans to conclude the home’s current owners should exercise caution while living there. He shared:

“I fear for the family that lives there if it progresses… I know it’s a thrill to buy the house and live there, but they need to be very aware of what they could potentially be dealing with.”

What could they be dealing with, exactly?
