Shia Screwed Production

shiala.jpg

As we had anticipated….

Shia LaBeouf IS costing the Transformers sequel production a pretty penny.

According to Daily Variety, the drunk driver is out for a month because of his hand injury and his absence has thrown a monkey wrench into the production schedule.

An insider said there was no work stoppage but rescheduling has proven to be a logistical headache.

Scenes featuring co-star Josh Duhamel had to be moved to this week to work around LaBeouf's absence.

Another person familiar with the situation said, "Everyone had to adjust their schedule."

A source also reported that the crew lost two days of filming all because of Shia.

The film's director, Michael Bay, declined comment.

That probably means he's super pissed!

Topanga Got a Job!

Lucky girl!

That DUI hasn't held her back.

Former Boy Meets World star, Danielle "Topanga" Fishel, has been named host of the new Style channel show, The Dish.

The Dish will be just like the E! channel's The Soup, just more fashion and style oriented.

And, it will most likely suck.

Danielle Fishel is no Joel McHale!

A network suit said, "This show is a first of its kind for the Style network and we're thrilled to have Danielle as host. She combines passion for the style category with witty humor and playful fun."

Reallly??

We're happy for her, but a little shocked.

Did Topanga use that big mouth of hers for career advancement?

We kid, we kid.

She's Doing Well Better

Elizabeth Taylor's publicist is denying reports that she is hospitalized and close to death.

Her rep tells us:

"Ms. Taylor is fine. The Rumors which began in England about her health are dramatic, overstated and untrue. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels."

Good to know!

Diamonds are forever, and so is Elizabeth Taylor.

Mini Me Gives It Good!

Filed under: Legal Matters > Mini-Me

minime__opt11__opt1.jpg

We haven't heard much from Verne Troyer lately or his man-faced sex tape partner, Ranae Shrider.

Well, that's all changed today. Mini Me's dropping bombs!

Verne is suing his famewhore ex for "intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery."

Ouch.

Shrider beat up poor little Verne?

That's what his side is saying at least.

The lawsuit mentions how crazy Shrider one day picked the lock to his bedroom door, pushed away his 100 pound scooter that he used to block the door, and then threw him to the floor.

Verne's attorney, Ed McPherson, says "When you pick up a 2'8" human being and throw him to the floor, it hurts."

Poor little Mini-me.

And the lawsuit will be targeting others as well, including a sleazy attorney who allegedly tried to broker a deal for the sale of the sex tape.

As for Verne, he's suing his ex for $20 million.

He'll be lucky if she can even pay him $20!
