Another weekend of dominance for The Dark Knight.
Despite stiff competition from The Mummy 3, the new Batman movie has once again come in as the #1 movie in America.
The Dark Knight took in another $44.8M this weekend, putting its total at $395.88M domestic.
Unfortunately for Brendan Frasier, his The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor performed worse than expected this weekend.
That film only took in $42.5M domestic, good enough for second place. The movie was projected to make $50 mill or more.
But, back to Batman!
If it keeps up at this pace, The Dark Knight is EASILY expected to gross upwards of at least $480 mill and put it up at #2 on the list of highest grossing domestic releases of all time, just behind Titanic.
