Disney is developing a flick called Synchronicity, a comedy that pokes fun at the world of synchronized swimming.

Here’s the twist! The project will center on male synchronized swimmers.

Blades of Glory in the pool!

The fictional sport of male synchronized swimming has been a popular comedic target dating back to Harry Shearer and Martin Short’s SNL skit in 1984.

Wonder if that’s on the internets somewhere for us to see. We were too young for SNL back then!

We hope it stars Zac Efron and Chace Crawford. We just want to see them in Speedos!
