Why so charity cheapy weepy, Mr. Project Runway?
A new report asserts that Harvey Weinstein may be the least charitable mogul in New York.
Documents show that after legal and accounting expenses factored in, he only gave $64,000 to charities last year.
$64K is a lot of money to us regular folks, but keep in mind that the Weinsteins made $80 million in 1993 when Miramax was sold to Disney and Harvey has a load of pricey property. He’s also reportedly ‘diversified’ into cable channels, magazines, websites, bars, and fashion companies.
Maybe he donated anonymously?
We’ll see! Harvey might give more generously in the coming year!
Remember, he’s making tons of money off of Project Runway‘s move to Lifetime — early reports said his company will be getting $1 million per episode at the new network!
