i absolutely LOVE this organization
TWLOHA Is a great organization and everyone should check them out. The do great work!
this organization was better when it just started out. now they sold out. it's ridiculous.
If "Perez" is so concerned about the work TWLOHA does then why does "he" make it a joke when a magazine cover claims "Lindsanity" is depressed?
This is a really awesome cause! Thanks for putting it up!
Re: QuinneVengeance – i dont think it is possible for a NON PROFIT to sell out. idiot.
Re: Giorgi – I agree.
But it's good that people know about it. I've been following them since the beginning and it's one of the best non profit organisations out there.
I've heard one of the guys who started this organization speak at a small concert. If you've never heard the story behind how this got started, it's very powerful and TWLOHA is a great organization to support. As far as "selling out"….I'm not really sure how that applies to a non-profit movement.
YAYYYY!!!! Finally putting TWLOHA on here!!!!
Best organization ever. and to QuinneVengeance…isn't their goal to "sell out" and spread the word the best way possible?
There is no such thing as 'selling out' when you're a non-profit involved in such a WONDERFUL cause. I was exposed to them by seeing guys in my favorite bands wearing t-shirts several years ago and have been an avid supporter once learning the meaning behind the apparel. Props to PEREZ for giving it more exposure!!
Fundamentalist Christians parading as a non-profit organization dedicated to "helping people." Perez, you are a hypocrit.
Fundamentalist Christian assholes.
TWLOHA is amazing, thank you Perez for posting this!!
i LOVE them
i bought a tote bag and a shirt and it's such a good cause that
ACTUALLY helps people
yesss, i adore twloha. it's a great organization!
i have 6 shirts already & i've been to an event.
thank you perez for the recognition.
This is the one organization I have supported for years now! I have so many shirts and such! But why did they pay to advertise on Perez if it's non-profit how can they afford it
You're just NOW putting something up about TWLOHA????? they've been around for ages…
and yes, they can "sell-out" in a sense, all of a sudden it's the popular thing to do and not for the reasons behind the organization, but because the image they project is what's "cool" right now
Bout time you posted about them perez.
TWLOHA is one of the best non-profit orgs out there.
THEY ARE NOT JUST A CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION.
its in their FAQ, and the creator has stated many times that the religious aspect of this is not what they are trying to spread.
it's about time that you featured TWLOHA. thank's perez!
Always good to see the cause get some support, especially from those who have the power to influence young generations. I have a bunch of the shirts, a hoodie, and a bag and I try to tell people about the organization whenever I can. The org. saves lives, it's amazing to think that a worldwide movement started with some friends printing t-shirts in florida to pay for one girls rehab. Amazing.
It WAS a worthwhile cause, but thanks to little middle-school girls it's became a reason to cut yourself and be cool.
I see those 13 year old girls prancing around everywhere alll the time with ugly scratches on their arms, sporting a TWLOHA shirt.
loves it!
A fantastic organization and definitely worthy of a feature; well done TWLOHA and Perez!
I LOVE THIS ORGANIZATION!
I WRITE LOVE ON MY ARMS
EVERYTIME I'M DOWN AND FEEL LIKE CUTTING!
IT HELPS!
LOVE IT!!!
this organization is amazing.
Perez! It's so awesome to see you promoting this organization! I've been supporting TWLOHA for 1 year now in honor of my brother. They are amazing people. I really encourage people to support this cause.
TWLOHA is deff my favorite organization, and I'd love if everyone went to twitter and tried to convince @realhughjackman to donate to TWLOHA. It helped save my best friends life, and I've had my own chapter of the organization ever since.
Thanks Perez for being kick ass and telling people about the awesome cause
Agree w/ sueZ. fuck TWLOHA.
THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS UP! It's ridiculous that people say they're selling out, etc. It's an amazing cause and everyone should know about it. So, thanks, Perez. TWLOHA is incredible.
i'm glad you posted about twloha its ana amazing organisation
Re: Taco Massacre – Thats kinda what I was afraid of. My friend bought me a shirt and showed me the website the other day, as I am a recovering cutter. Im not too fond of the name of it either becuase it seems like it almost encourages. It seems like it unknowingly makes it "cool"
Re: Snaprebelx – The reason it is called to write love on her arms is because the girl that influenced the creation of this organization had wrote love on her arm with a box cutter. I don't think anyone should put down this or any organization that is trying to help others. Yes, some people wear the shirts and don't know what they mean, or stand for, but it doesn't make the issue any less important. It also makes people think i wonder what to write love on her arms is all about. It has helped many people and will continue to help people, so do not go judging something before you know all the facts.
Love this organization…Good job perez!!!
thanks for taking the time to recognize to write love on her arms, perez. this is an amazing organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of so many young people. PLEASE DONATE!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU PEREZ!
this organization is fucking amazing.
Re: sueZ –
Hey sueZ,
Here's a reply straight from our FAQ about your comment.
Q. Is TWLOHA a “Christian” organization?
A. We feel that the story (and the rest of this project) speaks for itself. Identifying something (such as a band, store, venue or project) as "Christian" often alienates those outside of the Church/Christian culture, and we don't want to do that. TWLOHA aims to be inclusive and inviting. This is a project for all people. This is a project for broken people, and it is led by broken people.
Re: Snaprebelx – Just to give a little history behind the name, To Write Love on Her Arms started out as a goal. The night before Renee, the girl in the story, was suppose to enter treatment she took a razorblade to her skin and wrote the words "FUCK UP" on her left forearm. This is a significant part in the story because this was an identity issue she had of herself and the people around her believed something different. We wanted to show her there were people who unconditionally cared for her and believed help was possible. Thanks for sharing about your recovery, our thoughts are with you as you continue day-to-day. Please email: info@twloha.com if you have anymore thoughts or questions.
Loving that you posted TWLOHA, definitely an amazing cause. As a recovering cutter, I know the good TWLOHA can do and how much it helps people who are struggling. So many people could use their help so featuring it on such a high profile blog is a great idea.
