Terrence Howard Saves Bird, Thanks Baby Wipes!

wenn342276.jpg

Famously difficult actor, Terrance Howard stopped traffic in order to save baby bird in Beverly Hills.

"Six lanes of traffic were stopped. A baby bird was walking in front of a bus when someone from the store came out and tried to help it. He followed holding his hands up and stopping until the bird was out of harm's way," said a spy.

Howard has a reputation for being disagreeable so it sounds like an elaborate PR scheme to us!

Also, when you touch a baby bird, we're pretty sure the mother will not take it back!!!!

We'll give him the benefit of the doubt!

IT GOES TO SHOW HE IS AS BEAUTIFUL IN THE INSIDE AS HE IS ON THE OUTSIDE!!!!

  2. 2

thats a myth perez. birds have no sense of smell. do some research

  3. 3

Birds have a poor sense of smell. The mother WILL NOT REJECT a baby bird that has been touched by human hands. Please don't further spread that awful rumor

  4. 4

it is a myth that the mother bird will not take it back…look it up before you spew bullshit. I also don't see how something like that could be set up for PR?

  5. 5

Birds have a bad sense of smell so they wouldn't be able to tell if a human has touched their baby or not. Its an urban myth that a mother bird wont take back the baby if its been touched by a human.

  6. 6

Blah… He sounds like a woman and Perez should know he is a BIRD!

  8. 8

damn he is a beautiful, beautiful man. oh those eyes. huh, was there a story here?

  9. 9

That's a myth. The mother bird will not abandon her young if you touch it.

  10. 10

I THINK HE WAS VERY GENUINE AND THAT IS A REALLY, REALLY NICE THING TO DO. WE NEED MORE PEOPEL LIKE THAT IN THE WORLD.

  11. 11

I think the mother rejects the baby if it was smashed by a bus. But I'll have to check my sources.

  12. 12

He has an obsession with babywipes. Also, he is a flaming homosexual and is in denial. His misogyny poorly veils this.

  13. 13

moms say that to their kids so that they wont touch baby birds if they see them on the ground.

  14. 14

We are sooooooooo tired of this self-absorbed, arrogant, prima donna, over-rated flash in the pan. It's great he's found a new calling : playing in traffic.

Reminds me of Martin Lawrence and his crazaziness.

  15. 15

Actually, the human scent rumor is a myth. Many times baby birds don't fall out of a nest, but are purposely pushed out. If the parent birds find any defects, including injuries, they will push that bird out. Sometimes the nest mates will do the pushing too. Even when a bird falls out by accident, the parents won't boot them out because of interactions with humans, although they may be very upset about humans in the nest area. Renesting a bird might work, but it just depends on the situation.

As for Mr. Howard, it's good to see him doing a good deed and not beating up on women in his life! But a good deed is a good deed, so good for him!

Re: ladygluva – you're right - it is better to save the baby bird than to believe a myth like that. Even if it is a blatant PR move, I'd still rather see the bird saved.

  17. 17

Actually, birds can't smell.. that is a myth that if you touch a baby bird the mother will not have anything to do with it.. if you put it back in the nest (if you know where it may be located) the mother will continue to care for her fallen babe….and btw.. Terrance Howard….. HOT!!!! He can stop traffic and help me anytime!!

  18. 18

    So mean but sexy.

  19. sea says – reply to this

    19

oh plz , he was trying to save the poor bird's life ! This is not a PR scheme where do you get these ideas from Perez ?

  20. 20

    Re: sushilover – Effing hilarious!!

  21. 21

thats a myth about birds….not all species of birds will turn their back on their young when a human has touched it. Many birds could care less….

  22. 22

it also says that he didn't touch the bird. he walked BEHIND the bird with his HANDS UP stopping traffic until the bird got to safety.

  23. 23

Holla to all who know something about baby birds and rejection by the mother. They're right!

  24. 24

    nice eyes.

  25. 25

It is a myth that the mom will not touch the baby. It was a myth spread by schoolteachers / parents to keep kids mitts off of baby birds that get seperated from their mum.

  26. 26

Re: sushilover – LMAO #11 to make it easier for you guys to find his funny ass comment!

  27. 27

    hahaha good job! :D

  28. mute says – reply to this

    28

    THATS A MYTH!!!! wow

  29. 29

    myth

  30. 30

birds have no sense of smell so it is a myth that their mothers will not take them back, even most small animals that do have a sense of smell will take their young back if touched by a human.

  31. 31

God, I'm glad at least most of your readers are smart and didn't believe you. Perez, I'm disappointed in you! You should do a correction because you are entirely wrong that mother birds will rejected baby birds touched by humans. DO A CORRECTION.

  32. 32

I don't know who he is, but good for him, for helping the bird. I'm serious. Most celebrities, much less ordinary people, would ignore it.

  33. 33

Aww I love this story! I needed to hear about good people in this world today…

  34. 34

    That's cool! :D

  35. 35

WHY does Perez's writers never ever research the FACTS before they write something here?!!!! Baby birds CAN be touched by humans and will STILL be accepted by their parent birds!!!!

It s OTHER animals, such as deer, that one may not touch….

Dont you have any EDUCATION in the USA!!!!???

  36. 36

That's horse shit. I rescued a bird when it flew into my windscreen and the RSPB came to collect it and took it away. The ornithologist told me that Motehr's don't reject their young.

  37. 37

I worked with Terrence in Toronto on the show "Street Time". He is a loser! He would show up 2-3 hours late without an apology. To Terrence, the crew of a TV show are scum. We would wait and wait, we would shoot everything we could without him - and still wait. He would eventually show up with a bunch of young, young, young, giggling girls in the back seat with him. He is the biggest loser I've worked with in my 25 years of film and TV. I was so glad to hear that he got fired from Iron Man. Dude is a loser!!!! Terrence if you read this - TORONTO NEVER WANTS YOU BACK EITHER!!!

  38. 38

Sure like he is going to jump in front of a bus to save a damn bird!!!
    LLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  39. 39

Why do people think that all these different animals won't take their young back if you touch them? Not true in this case.

  40. 40

What? This is a bad thing to save the life of a helpless creature?? You are being selectively insensitive as usual Perez. Lucky little bird!

  41. Ehyse says – reply to this

    41

Whatever!!! He's still a grade A jerk, and wife beater!!!

  42. 42

your baby is so cute! you're lucky to have found him!
