Transformers Opens HUGE!

Not surprisingly, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has transformed the kids’ toy into a blockbuster franchise.

In its initial midnight screenings alone, the Michael Bay sequel raked in a whopping $16 million on Tuesday night.

And while its midnight madness still doesn’t hold a candle to The Dark Knight or Revenge of the Sith, Transformers can take the biggest Wednesday midnight opening cake.

When it comes to the film’s IMAX release, however, Transformers outdid The Dark Knight with $1 million.
