Lifetime Can't Withstand Its Name; A&E Buys Them Out

Wow.

We received news this afternoon that A&E Television is in the process of acquiring the Lifetime Network.

The deal is said to be closing by the end of this year, but no other details were released.

This means yet another network move for our beloved Project Runway. Hopefully, they don’t do anything stoopid, like put in on the History Channel!

More likely than not, Lifetime will retain its own entity and just fall under the A&E family umbrella.
