Thank you so much for promoting melanoma awareness! Having a malignancy removed at age 41 in February, 2008 was the scariest thing I've ever experienced!

My 7 year old daughter is well-versed in melanoma prevention, including but not limited to sun exposure, sunscreen, and spotting skin changes and anomolies.

Melanoma is the deadliest of skin cancers and strikes more young people now than ever before! I grew up knowing about it because my mother had it but I didn't follow advice or think it could happen to me; thank God mine was caught early and I can help educate others.

I am so excited to see Mollie's Fund on Perez. I am a personal friend of Mollie's family and the work they have done to educate children, parents, strangers (the list goes on) is amazing!

Please make a donation and send this amazing story to just one person and hopfully they will feel inspired to make a donation and pass the story on. Together we can help educate people about the dangers of skin cancer.

This is such a worthwhile cause and I'm so happy to see it being promoted. I lost my dad to melanoma three years ago. He suffered so much the last two years of his life; surgeries, skin grafts, having half his chest removed, and so much more. This disease is sneaky, merciless, relentless, and in most cases fatal. Please, please be very careful in the sun and never, ever use tanning beds.

THANK YOU!!! I Was hoping you got my email about this fund. I know the Biggane family so well, and it's amazing to see the awareness they've raised - I was diagnosed with melanoma 2 years ago and it's because of this fund, I am here today because I knew enough to get checked. Thank you for helping to raise awareness by placing this here to reach the millions of people that come to your site. you are the best!

You have no idea how much this post absolutely made my day. I currently have skin cancer at the age of 20. It has turned my world completely upside down to say the least. I was blessed enough to catch it early, but some aren't so lucky. Thank you so much for posting this, Perez.
