Vampire Diaries Gets Some Fresh Blood

Sean Faris will be joining the cast of the hit CW show Vampire Diaries for a “juicy” multi-episode stint.
Not too much is known about the character, except that (for now) we can assume he is human, he’s an ex-high school football star-turned-bartender at the local hangout and there are hints that there could be a possible romance brewing for his character and one of the female leads
Aren’t all the female leads in high school, though? He seems a little old.
Then again, the main girl is dating a vampire so we guess that is not really an issue.
