Miley To Star In Rock Of Ages Movie?

Miley Cyrus went to see the Broadway musical Rock of Ages on Tuesday night and rumor has it that director Adam Shankman wants to cast her in the upcoming movie version of the musical!

Shankman and Miley worked together on The Last Song, coming out next year, and apparently he’d love to cast her as the role of “Sherrie” in Rock of Ages.

Miley hung out with the cast backstage, including Kerry Butler, who plays “Sherrie” on Broadway, James Carpinello and American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis.

Miley’s really getting into acting…well, other than as “Hannah Montana.”

We’ll have to wait and see if she’s actually talented or if her acting is only as good as her singing!
