All is not well for our favorite Canadian!
Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that tickets for Avril Lavigne's 2008 tour, which recently went on sale, are bombing.
"Tickets are not selling," a concert industry source tells us.
Lavigne is playing amphitheaters, arenas and theaters.
Lawn seats for some of the amphitheater shows are on sale for as little as $14 she's still having trouble moving them, we're told.
"She's going on tour too late," says our source of Avril, whose album came out in April of 2007. Her tour doesn't even begin until March of 2008!!!!
"Some of the venues - the arenas - may have to scale back to theater-seating," says our in-the-know insider.
Boys Like Girls is opening for Lavigne. Not exactly a huge draw either.
Poor Av! We hope she doesn't have to cancel her tour, like Kelly Clarkson did!

Y'all need to the the facts straight with Kelly! Her tour was not cancelled just due to poor ticket sales!! For years Kelly has said she hates big arenas because the fans don't have as intimate an experience. Her manager JEFF KWATINETZ scheduled her in arenas to make more money off her and THAT'S A REASON SHE FIRED HIM! She cancelled her own tour because she wanted to scale it back to intimate venues she knew would sell out (and most of the theatres sold out). It was a GREAT move by Kelly and yes the "official reason" is that her label cancelled it due to poor ticket sales, but that's not entirely true, and Kelly has too much class to issue a statement on the REAL reason.
