We’re SO over these remakes!
Jennifer Lopez is set to star in the remake of the 1987 flick Overboard. The original was directed by Garry Marshall and starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
If you recall, the flick centered on a spoiled woman who falls off her yacht and is taken to the hospital by a local carpenter. She wakes up with amnesia and he convinces her that she’s his wife and gets her to take care of his home and four boys.
As for the remake, Will Smith is producing with Overbrook partner James Lassiter.
Not a good idea to remake this classic we think.
And why cast JLo? Why not Kate Hudson? Or at least a good actress?
