Some people really are better as friends!
"Just because a romantic relationship ends doesn't mean that the other facets of your relationship have to end. Or, indeed, doesn't mean they can't get better."
The rocker said the exes "have tried really hard" to make their new dynamic work, and a lot of that has to do with making their two kids comfortable. The 38-year-old added:
"I think, unfortunately, though we couldn't stay in a romantic relationship, we're very, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships and I'm lucky that we're aligned in that way."
We loves that these two are putting their children's needs above all else! And we love that they're able to stay friends and co-parent their little ones!

Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Her Life Didn't End Up The Way She Imagined — 'I Really Don't Come From A Culture Of Divorce'
When a member from the audience asked Gwynnie what aspect of her life didn't turn out the way she planned, the Iron Man star frankly responded:
"My marriage. I am from a tribe of people who stay married. My parents stayed married until my dad died. I really don't come from a culture of divorce at all, and I had very high hopes for what my life could be."
GP and Chris "consciously uncoupled" over a year ago and have two children together, Moses, 9, and Apple, 11.
Paltrow's parents, filmmaker Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, wed in 1969 and were married until 2002 when her father passed away from cancer.
It was difficult for the Gwyneth and Chris to say goodbye to over a decade of marriage, especially when their two kiddos were involved:
"I think that it was very difficult for me that I couldn't do that and that I wasn't able to be married to the father of my children for the rest of my life. It was very challenging for me in terms of having to re-assess what that said about me, ideas that I had about that kind of failure."
Fortunately, they've been able to remain close and spend time together as a family — for the kid's sake:
"Luckily my ex-husband is an incredibly good ex-husband and an amazing dad."
Sounds like they are handling the situation the best way possible!

Gwyneth Paltrow expertly sold us on the all-white look at the RH Modern Gallery unveiling in LA on Wednesday.
Her surplice, wide-legged jumpsuit was beautifully spiced up with touches of red via Gwynnie's lips and her wavy-strap Prada heels.
It's giving us Christmas vibes, despite the fact that we're still three weeks away from Thanksgiving. Still, we appreciate this festive styling. All that was missing was a touch of green!
