*** WARNING: Nashville Spoilers Ahead ***
It's the end of an era… or is it?
Following its surprise cancellation last week, Nashville gave what could very well like be its final bow on Wednesday, much to the disappointment of its loyal fans.
While the episode itself was incredibly dramatic — will Hayden Panettiere's Juliette ever be seen again?! — the biggest thing we took away was how similarly the plot played out to Kesha's real life legal troubles with Dr. Luke!
The 29-year-old pop star has already portrayed herself during Season Four, so it clearly was not a coincidence that Connie Britton's Rayna opened up about a producer forcing himself on her AND then her daughter Maddie was placed in the same situation…
But if you're nervous about the show's future following that cliffhanger ending, we actually have some good news.
After the series finale, Lionsgate Television consoled fans on Twitter with a pretty uplifting message, saying:
Hayden Panettiere is doing all she can to battle postpartum depression.
A source divulged:
"She is trying to take care of herself. She wanted to get herself healthy again. The postpartum has been really scary for everybody, but she's taking care of it. She's taking care of herself."
That definitely explains why she would want to explore some more natural treatments on her path to recovery, especially considering she previously entered a rehab center back in October.
It's so good to hear that's she making herself a priority.
We'll be thinking of her during this difficult time!

May is always a rough time of year for television lovers…
Since most TV shows usually finish up their seasons in the Spring, it's always interesting to see which series get to live on to the Fall, and which will never be heard of again.
Unfortunately for fans, 13 shows failed to make the cut on Thursday as ABC, FOX, CBS, and The CW each cancelled at least one of their programs!
As you probably already saw, hit series Nashville and Castle were both discarded by the House of Mouse amidst behind-the-scenes drama, while Supergirl barely survived thanks to a move to a new channel.
So… which shows won't be making it to the 2016-2017 season??
In an unexpected move by ABC, Nashville will not be renewed for a fifth season.
Nashville Mayor Megan Barry said in a statement:
As you may recall, the 26-year-old entered a rehab center this past October for the same reason after giving birth to her daughter she shares with husband Wladimir Klitschko back in 2014.
The Nashville star penned:
"The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life. Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!"
We're hearing the actress will be seeking treatment in Utah.
Props to Hayden for being so open about her ongoing battle — and we're sending all of our love and well wishes to her!

In the final moments before renewals are announced, a lot of shows are looking for ways to help boost their ratings.
While Hough has popped up on the hit music drama before as Noah West, and it's always nice to see him return, the pop singer will be making her first appearance on the show!
Not a whole lot is known about the Tik Tok singer's guest appearance on Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton's show, but we're definitely excited to see her bounce back from her Dr. Luke drama and continue her television acting career!
Ch-ch-check out the teaser trailer for next week's star studded episode (below)!
Is the family drama finally over for Hayden Panettiere?
On Monday, it was reported that the Nashville actress' parents have FINALLY settled their divorce — but it seems that one term of the legal split involves their flesh-and-blood. Uh oh!
Apparently, the divorce documents reveal that Hayden's dad Alan will be paying her mom Lesley $5,000 a month for the next five years or until Miz Panettiere gets remarried. Not to mention, Alan is also planning to take responsibility for all of the money he owes to his famous daughter.
As you may remember, the blonde beauty loaned her poppa $100,000 last year and even let her momma crash in her condo. Now that's familial devotion!
Reportedly, as the divorce comes to a close, Lesley wanted to make sure that she wasn't going to be inadvertently paying for her former flame's debt. We're just happy to see that the Panettiere's eight year long divorce has now come to a close.
Hopefully this means that Hayden will see that $100K back in her pocket sometime soon!
