This is so adorable!
Sarah McLachlan just released the first music video from her new album Shine On, and we're totally in love with it!
Not only is Sarah's Monsters super emotional, but the animated short to go along with it is just too cute for words.
Sarah herself had nothing but positive things to say about her choice to go with a more child-like styling, saying:
"For my single Monsters I chose to go with an animated video because the kids really love this song and I wanted to keep it in that whimsical childlike world so animation seemed like the best approach"
We couldn't agree more!
Sarah's new album is available now, and you can get your very own copy HERE!

Sarah McLachlan's okay now, but when she got divorced back in 2008 it was a whole different, devastating deal.
Now that she's able to see it in a different light, she's been able to be really unfiltered about it too:
"Yeah, the marriage part didn't quite work out. Apparently that's a bit of an epidemic, so I just make light of it. Coming to terms with the fact that my marriage was a failure was devastating and very difficult. I blamed myself for a lot of things. It took me a very long time to get over it.
"I have amazing friends, great family and two kids, so I just got out of bed everyday and kept moving forward. I'm not one to sit and wallow — I would rather figure out a way around so I can move past it and be at peace with things. I don't like bad feelings gnawing away at me.
"So I've certainly done a lot of growing up in the past couple of years, recognizing bad traits in myself and others."
Well, this is definitely proof that time really does make a difference in how a person gets through sadness. It's wonderful to see that she's moved past that dark period of her life and has been able to keep everything together.
Splits can be painful, but never painful enough to give up hope! Time is powerful!
