Amanda Bynes was arrested Thursday for drug possession, reckless endangerment, AND tampering with evidence…

But even before last night's cray cray drama, it seems her concerned parents have been inquiring about getting a conservatorship over their obviously troubled daughter!

However, because the retired actress refuses to see a mental health professional and has not actually harmed herself or anyone else (although she totally could have last night when she THREW A BONG OUT OF HER WINDOW), her parent's getting a conservatorship is most likely not an option.

A source explains:

Amanda Bynes, the girl who claims she does NOT party, was arrested Thursday night on charges of drug possession (weed), reckless endangerment (throwing a foot long bong from her apartment window which could have smashed on some unsuspecting pedestrian's HEAD) and tampering with evidence (getting rid of a BONG out of her window)…

The former child star is reportedly now in a holding cell at night court and will most likely get a hearing Friday morning.

Amanda Bynes had a run-in with the popo in the NYC on Thursday night, which resulted in her arrest AND subsequent taking to a psychiatric hospital!

Police showed up at the former child star's midtown apartment after receiving reports of a disorderly person. And that's when shit got crazy!

When the NYPD arrived at Bynes' pad on West 47th, street she threw a bong out the window, who know cuz it probably had crack "incense" in it and she didn't want law enforcement to find it.

Twitter-loving Amanda was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.

After her arrest, Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and then transferred to a Midtown police station to be processed.

Hopefully they send her BACK to the hospital and put her on a psychiatric hold!

Any mention of the SCANDALOUS Amanda Bynes apartment photos, and you’ll get a (mostly tweeted) cacophony of: They’re real! They’re staged!! They’re legit! They’re doctored!! You’re beautiful! You’re ugly!!

Who knows anymore, right?!?!

Well, someone close to Amanda apparently claims to have the final answer.

They had A LOT to say about the pics AND the troubled starlet, including the following:

Within the past 24 hours, the latest headlines surrounding Amanda Bynes have become a storm of vicious scandal and questions.

Scandal is nothing new here.

But we were SHOCKED to see the conditions InTouch reported she was living in. Amanda is of course denying their photographs, claiming they're all fake because the toes on who is supposed to be her are obviously not her perfect, pedicured lil' piggie-wiggies.

Still, there's something else that's troubling here…

As we've pointed out in the past, Amanda likes to defend herself by aggressively calling those she perceives as her 'haters' ugly.

We're all used to people using the 'oh the haters are just jealous' argument to justify themselves, but time after time Amanda takes it even further and denounces the legitimacy of anyone who questions her lifestyle with UGLY.

And we have to wonder why.

Not only is the retired actress fresh off another mean spirited Twitter-based rant directed at InTouch magazine (and us!) about pictures they claim to have showing the former child star partying hAArd, NOW we hear she recently displayed some DIVA behavior while attempting to board a private jet in New Jersey!

You may recall Amanda does NOT have her driver's license because it was suspended during all her hit and run dramz, thus when the jet's pilot was checking the passengers' IDs and found that Amanda did NOT have one, he refused to allow her on the plane…

And according to sources, girl flipped out, screamed "I'm Amanda Bynes!" and tried to use GOOGLE as a substitute for identification verification!

The pilot apparently called his parent company to see if he could make an exception for the pierced-cheek cherub, but because TSA regulations require all plane passengers to carry ID, his hands were tied.

Celebs may be exempt from MANY of the rules regular peeps have to live by, but we always can count on the TSA to treat everyone like sheep equals, LOLz!
