Y'all might not remember this, but back in the day Billy Ray Cyrus was just as popular as his daughter Miley Cyrus.

In fact, he may have been even more popular!

We know. It's hard to imagine, but it's true!

So Billy Ray knows all about the pitfalls of fame, and offers his advice to Miley anytime she wants it!

Here's what he said:

When you grow up in a show biz family… you tend to end up in show biz!

It's not different for Noah Cyrus!

Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a big music star turned actor and her sister, Miley Cyrus is a huge musician/actor!

So of course Noah is following in big sis Miley's footsteps.

Miley Cyrus may be a big star, but she's not the only chip off of Billy Ray's block!

Big bro Trace Cyrus and his band Ashland High are setting the bar with their new music video!

Miley Cyrus' brother Braison Chance Cyrus had a health scare, recently. He was taken to a hospital after he started gushing blood.

Here's what Braison said on Twitter:

“I got my tonsils out last week. Not sure what happened exactly but long story short my artery opened and I was bleeding a lot. All good now thanks to good doctors. Today was actually the most horrific day of my life. Honestly, I can’t sleep because I am scared.”

Poor kid!

Luckily, Billy Ray Cyrus was there for support. He also snapped the picture of him (above) that will sure to make anyone who sees it very uncomfortable.

Here's what the dad said on Twitter:

“This was yesterday. Everything is OK now…but brainsonwukong was bleeding badly. Thanking God and all the fine doctors nurses and staff at Providence Saint Joseph hospital. Been a wild 24 hours but bringing my son home.”

Miley retweeted her dad's tweet later on.

We're incredibly happy to hear that everything is A-OK now, and Braison is recovering from this horrific health scare!

Nostalgia!

Miley Cyrus & Billy Ray were spotted out and about for lunch with Miley's sister Brandi hiding behind her bulky daddy.

Seeing the father and daughter together brings back some wonderful memories of The Hannah Montana Show for us.

We MISS those days.

Miley was innocent. Billy Ray was an actor on the rise.

Oh, how things change.

Good to see the two spend some family time together - although we guess that's just Miley being Miley.

Billy Ray Cyrus has teamed up with Amazon to release his new memoir — Hillbilly Heart. (LOL)

In the book, Billy Ray will talk about everything from life pre-parenting to what it was like raising the little Mileybird.

Maybe he'll explain his thoughts on her pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards.

Everyone gave him crap for applauding her performance, but hey, he's her dad. What's he gonna do? Boo her?? Pshhh…. no!
