After stating in countless interviews how she has never met her new granddaughter, Candy Spelling was invited to the child's 1st birthday party this past weekend. Tori Spelling, in an effort to bury the hatchet, invited her mother so that they could clear the air.
But, when the day of the party arrived, Candy was nowhere to be seen at the festivities. She chose not to attend at the last minute because of the camera crews that would be present for Tori's reality show.
Sources are saying that this was a huge slap in the face to Tori as she had already told her mother that the show would be filming but that she would respect Candy's wishes and not have her included in the taping. Candy had confirmed she would attend with the prior knowledge but then changed her mind an hour before and decided to inform her daughter through e-mail.
An email? Really?
Of course, being a busy hostess, Tori never received the message until after the party was over. A source recalls: "She was waiting for her mom the whole time."
Candy's camp stands by that the grandmother was unaware of the filming and she would not attend with cameras there.
Your loss, Candy. Sounds like you could have had a nice day with your daughter and grandchildren.
Randy Spelling wants no part of the dramz between his big sis Tori and mother Candy, refusing to comment on the statement his mom made earlier this week that Tori "killed" their father, Aaron Spelling.
Leave the cattiness to the ladies!
Instead, the death of his father has had a tremendous impact on Randy's life - in a positive way.
The 30-year-old Randy is the brains behind a life coaching company, Being in Flow.
"After my dad died, I took stock of my life," Spelling recalls.
He continues: "I’ve always been into people and spirituality, and a friend suggested I take a course in becoming a life coach. I had never even heard of a life coach but I enrolled in a school and it became a real passion… I am committed to empowering people.”
Good for him!
Candy and Tori could stand to learn a thing or two from Randy!
Not-so-sweet Candy Spelling is pissed that an interview she gave yesterday about her late husband, TV producer Aaron, and estranged daughter, Tori Spelling, prompted this headline around the internet: Candy Spelling: Tori's Actions Killed My Husband Aaron Spelling.
"I didn't intend to create headlines. I was asked a question about my daughter not speaking with my family, and I answered truthfully. My husband was very ill, and he had stopped eating and taking liquids. He called Tori on a daily basis, and never stopped asking if Tori had returned his call. We had to say no every day."
Guess Candy's done trying to "make nice" with Tori!
In a radio interview this morning with the Kellogg Crew on 94.7 WMAS in Springfield, MA, Candy Spelling delivered some pretty harsh words for estranged daughter Tori.
According to Candy, after Tori inexplicably dropped the rest of her family, the heartache basically "killed" her father Aaron after all he'd done for her.
Have a listen below. And yes, she really does use the word "killed!"
Candy Spelling is reportedly worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and she's the stingiest bitch around!
The heiress to her deceased husband's fortune has just been sued by a former employee for wrongful termination.
Turns out one of Candy's maids was being cheated out of her salary each day.
According to the lawsuit filed yesterday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the former maid says she was forced by Spelling to clock out of work each day for two 10 minute breaks. But the maid wasn't getting paid for her breaks.
By law, aren't full time employees allowed/required to take a 10 minute break after working four hours? And that's a paid break too!
But not according to Candy's people, who claim they were required to give the maid breaks, though not required to pay for those breaks.
As for the maid, she obviously got fired and is now seeking unspecified damages. That's code word for a shit-load of money.
Some sneaky sis (or bro!) took a little behind-the-scenes video of Madonna's MDNA tour rehearsal in Tel Aviv this weekend and has shared some incredible footage!
Part of Madge's setlist is her iconic homage to self-love, Express Yourself, but in her 2012 version, she is spicing it up by mashing it with Lady GaGa's similar anthem, Born This Way.
Yeah, you're not going to want to miss this!
