Now THIS is what we call a party.

We guess it’s fitting that a movie about an extravagant party host would hold pretty much the ULTIMATE premiere party!

The Great Gatsby features an A-list cast, A-list soundtrack, and A-list EVERYTHING. So of course they decided to have the most A-list party EVER to celebrate!!

If we listed every single celeb that showed up, that would take all day. But here are a few: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Baz Luhrmann, Jay-Z, Carey Mulligan, Jamie Foxx, Amanda Seyfried, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil Jon, Florence Welch, etc, etc, etc!!!!!

Ermahgerdddddd that’s so many seksi celebs we’re about to pass out.

A guest felt the same way we do, saying:

After making her red hot debut at The Great Gatsby premiere last night, Carey Mulligan was spotted leaving her NYC hotel Thursday morning looking fresh as a daisy….Daisy Buchanan, that is!

Wearing a fitted navy dress with black belt and sky-high Louboutins, Carey stepped out of the '20s and into 2013 with her business chic outfit!

This is the first time we've seen her hair down in, well, maybe ever?? She usually has it in a cute bob or tied back, but having shoulder-length hair gives her a whole new look!

We just wish she had done more with it, especially considering the rest of her is so stylish.

She's giving us a bit of a Kirsten Dunst look here, no??

Thank the benevolent fashion gods! Carey Mulligan isn't wearing black!

The actress attended the New York premiere of The Great Gatsby on Wednesday night as the very picture of understated elegance.

Her red Lanvin strapless dress was very becoming against her porcelain complexion, while her Tiffany & Co. jewels provided a bit of glam.

Brian Atwood peep-toe heels, a simple updo, and just a touch of makeup completed her red carpet look.

She could definitely still up the glam factor by a few degrees, but we can't deny that she looks absolutely lovely in this ensem.

Who would’ve ever thought Carey Mulligan would be acting in a movie with a soundtrack by Jay-Z?!

Certainly not Carey!

And now that The Great Gatsby premiere is days away, Carey is all in a tizzy about possibly meeting Jay-Z at the event.

We're more concerned about whether or not Beyoncé will be there!

Even though Carey’s a well-respected actress with plenty of experience working with MAJOR stars, there’s just something about Hova that has her straight up speechless!

But don’t worry too much, cutie Carey sort of has a plan and it even involves a slightly totally awkward ending!

Carey Mulligan's in full-on Gatsby promotion mode and she's been doing well so far style-wise.

But at the Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada The Great Gatsby Dresses Exhibit cocktail party in NYC on Tuesday night, her choice of outfit was less than impressive.

The actress wore an embroidered black dress from Prada's A/W 2008 collection paired with peep-toe Brian Atwood heels.

She also kept her makeup VERY minimal, almost looking ghostly pale.

It all just fell flat.

Come on, Carey, you're in what is possibly the most glamorous movie of the year!

Where's the pizzazz?! Bring us the razzle-dazzle!

So pretty in pink!

Carey Mulligan and her rosy cheeks graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar UK's June issue wearing, but of course, Prada!

She looks like a Great Gatsby ethereal angel, doesn't she??

The perfectly pink jacket with rose-colored flower embellishments that she's wearing is just so eye-catching, but what really catches our attention is her impeccable natural beauty.

Absolutely wonderful.
