The nominees for the 2016 Juno Awards were revealed on Tuesday… and it's clear they must have forgotten that females can make music, too — but one person who definitely didn't forget is singer/musician/producer/artist Grimes.
The 27-year-old had her highest charting album of her career in 2015 with Art Angels, but she and most of her female peers were mysteriously overlooked by the music awards show, spawning the hashtag #JunosSoMale!
Naturally, Grimes took to Twitter to vent her frustrations in a series of now-deleted tweets, saying:
