That's right, the NY Knicks want Jeremy Lin!!
Remember a few months ago when everybody was losing their shizz over Jeremy Lin?
Whatever happened to that??
Does a new Knicks coach spell the end for Linsanity?
Even though Jeremy Lin has proven himself a valuable asset to the team, the breakout star may be losing a lot of opportunities to prove himself on the court.
Mike Woodson, who replaced head coach Mike D’Antoni, was predicted to prefer veterans to rookies and has since confirmed that strategy by saying:
“It’s everybody’s ballclub. But I want everyone to know that when it comes [crunch] time and I got to get a big shot, I’m going to Melo and Amar’e and guys who have done it. A lot of these guys are young and still trying to figure it out. Those guys have been around the block a number of times and have done it. They’ll be go-to guys coming down the stretch.’’
Unfortunately for Lin, that means he'll be forced to pass the ball to players like Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire instead of taking a shot at NBA glory.
Woodson pretty much dashed the popular athlete's hopes of continuing his astounding run, that started with 7 straight wins, as he said in a statement:
“I remember playing for a great coach in Red Holzman. He taught me rookies were to sit, listen and learn. He taught me a valuable lesson way back when. I listened and learned a lot as a rookie.’’
We're looking forward to see how the coaching change affects the Knicks' game, but one thing is for sure — Jeremy Lin better start accepting as many endorsement deals as he can before Linsanity is a distant memory!

It's so wonderful to see people the the means to do things like this actually do it!
The basketball stars showed up at a community center in Brooklyn to help pass out the meals that were provided by Carmelo's charity. How wonderful! And we bet those who were there that needed the help were more than excited to see who was there to help!
We mean, just check out the picture above and tell us that doesn't warm your heart!

Bette Midler looked like she was under a bit of a hocus pocus on Friday while standing in the presence of NBA player Carmelo Anthony.
The New York Knick attended Midler's annual Hulaween Gala in NYC to benefit the New York Restoration Project.
He was dressed as a Depression era gangster, while Bette was dressed as…a witch maybe? Ha!
Check out more pics of Carmelo at the charity Halloween event below!
