The Duffster is soon to face some major drama!

Hilary Duff has signed on to appear in several episodes of CW's Gossip Girl this coming season!!!!

We guess this is the result of NBC passing on her ill-conceived comedy pilot Barely Legal.

Hilary will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience and ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

Duff will debut in this season's fourth episode, to air Oct. 5.

Be sure to say "hi" to Chace for us!!!!!

Someone pack our bags because all the best man candy seems to be on the East Coast and we are looking for a piece!

Everyone's guilty pleasure, Gossip Girl, resumed filming on Monday, which means the stars were all trotting about New York City in all their splendor.

But it is that delicious Chace Crawford that makes us severely suffer from hawtness hypnosis.

P.S. Liking that he's mixing up the hairstyle a bit!

It has been confirmed that the lucky leading lady to dance alongside Chace Crawford in the remake of Footloose will be Julianne Hough, provided that the scheduling can be worked out.

The Dancing With The Stars beauty will be making her movie debut with the flick, that is described as a more mature and modern version of the 1984 Kevin Bacon classic.

We think it's a good choice and hope it goes through.

People Magazine seems to think so, and went can't find any argument in that.

Now THIS is a good cover!

The mag will be releasing their tenth annual Hottest Bachelors issue, with Footloose star/Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford as their coverboy.

And doesn't he look delish?!

Chace gives a tell-all interview, where he discusses a lot of the questions we're dying to hear the answers to. Like what it was like dating Carrie Underwood: "I have nothing bad to say about that experience. It was awesome. I just didn’t know how to deal with it. I learned a ton about dating someone in that kind of spotlight. It was such a whirlwind, but no regrets."

Chace even decides to touch upon those "gay rumors" surrounding him and Ed Westwick: "You know what we really did the first time we heard it? Ed goes, “Oh, did you hear that rumor about us being gay?” I was like, “Yeah, man.” He starts laughing and we’re kind of like, “Okay, you want to go play pool and have a beer?”

The mag is featuring 45 hunky pieces of eligible eye candy for you to ogle, like R-Patz, Chris Fine, Shia LaBeouf, and Glambert. People also conducted a poll of it's readers to find out who is the best looking guy without his shirt on.

Chace Crawford really needs to step up his game!

The hottie has signed on to star in the remake of Footloose, but someone needs to sign him up to a gym membership. And quick!

Monday night, Crawford was spotted leaving Il Sole restaurant in Los Angeles looking slimmer than usual.

Is he on the Lohan Aspen snow diet????

The Gossip Girl hottie needs to put on a few pounds, preferably in muscle.

He should schedule a workout with Taylor Lautner!

The movie isn't slated to shoot until next March,but leading man Chace Crawdford is all about talking about his new leading role in Footloose, including snatching up the role after Zac Efron dropped it.

He explains to Entertainment Weekly: "I know Zac and we're actually friends. He's gotta make the best choice for his career at this point and I have to make the best for mine and luckily it worked out for both of us."

The interview also reveals that Julianne Hough from Dancing With The Stars will screen-test this week and has a very good shot at being Chace's co-star. Chace sympathizes with all those yet to audition, as he recalls it being a rather tortuous and endless audition of singing and dancing: “It was, like, five hours of the most rigorous tests ever,” says Crawford.

Some other details about the film being revealed are that some of the original cast members may make appearances (Is your phone ringing Sarah Jessica Parker?) and that original plus new music will be integrated into the soundtrack.

It's all starting to come together now, and we like it!

The new leading man of the Footloose remake, Chace Crawford, might have a new leading lady in his life!

According to reports, the hot young star is getting close to supermodel Esti Ginzburg. A witness at a party on Sunday saw Esti texting Chace all night long and left the party to go meet up with him. That "witness" is probably Esti herself - or her publicist!

The pair are slated to star in the adaptation of Nick McDonell's book Twelve.

Eh, we don't think she is pretty enough for him. Yes, she is a super model, but look at HIM!

There has been a lot of speculation and rumor about who will be cast as in the remake of Footloose after Zac Efron, who was attached to star in the movie, dropped out. Well, ponder no more, at least about the leading man!

Pararmount, which is producing the movie, confirms exclusively to PerezHilton.com that it will be none other then Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford!!!

Crawford will be reprising Kevin Bacon's famous role of Ren and Kenny Ortega, the man behind all the High School Musical films, will be directing!

Good choice people! We approve!

But what of the leading lady?

Well, Kenny Ortega may be dipping back into the Disney tween pool for that.

New reports claim that Miley Cyrus is the latest little lady to be considered for the part. That puts her in the running with starlets like Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes and Dancing With the Stars pro Julianne Hough.

Now that we know who's the star, who would U like to see as his love interest?

Every year, the President hosts the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, and this year, President Obama is going to be surrounded by some big-name celebrities.

Expected to attend are Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria, John Cusack and some of the fresh, hot faces from Gossip Girl.

Slated to attend are Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr. Crawford, who is a Democrat, was invited to the event by Fox News and he hopes this will mean a meet and greet with Bill O'Reilly so the two can talk "about his pro-Obama beliefs."

Now, we wish we were going.
