There's really nothing more enjoyable than dinner and a show!
On Thursday, VH1 announced that it will be kicking off this year's Musically Mastered Menu later this month, as a part of its Save The Music Foundation!
For those of you who aren't already familiar, Musically Mastered Menu combines two of the best things in the world — music and food — to raise money that will restore music programs in public schools across the US!
Every event includes multiple delicious courses from a high-profile local chef, as well as a live performance by a musical artist!
The best part?? The food for the evening is actually inspired by the performer!
And what better place to launch the 2016 campaign than wine country???
The kickoff event will be held in Napa, California and feature the musical stylings of Matt Nathanson! And prepping the amazing meals to accompany the Come On Get Higher singer's sweet sound will be Chef Brandon Sharp, who will be hosting the incredible night at his restaurant, Solbar.
Sounds like the best time ever, right?? Well it's on January 28 so if you're interested grab your tickets NOW by clicking here!
Let's save the music!
Fetty Wap is in the midst of some pretty serious drama with an alleged baby momma, but the rapper is still taking time out for his young fans.
In a totally sweet move, the New Jersey-native sent his best wishes to Anthony, a 10-year-old battling a Hypoxic Anoxic brain injury after a seizure, who was wishing to meet him.
While he didn't get to send his prayers to his biggest fan in person, the My Way rapper sent over an adorable video, which he started by singing a verse from Trap Queen!
Not only that, but Fetty praised Anthony for being such a fighter, as well as sending his best wishes.
Make sure to catch a clip of the cute shout out (below):
We don't have to tell you that Leonardo DiCaprio is one of Hollywood's most highly-acclaimed (and followed) stars.
So what does the 41-year-old notorious bachelor think of all the hype?
In a new interview with Parade mag, The Revenant star says it all comes down to his passion for acting and having a platform to create change in the world.
But The Wolf Of Wall Street actor isn't interested in fame for fame's sake, that's just part of the territory:
"If I wanted to quit acting, I could have done it a long time ago. I love making movies. I feel lucky and fortunate to do it, and it is absolutely worth sacrificing a lot of my private life. I don't think anyone [famous] ever really gets used to it. It's always surreal. At the end of the day, there are people with much harder jobs who sacrifice a lot more of their own lives to do them, people in the armed forces. I don't want to hear myself complain about the hardships of being famous—because I do have the freedom to stop, if I wanted to."
The fame he's acquired over his four decades in Hollywood has given him a platform to be an environmental advocate — something he's been very passionate about since he was a kid:
"As a young boy I was obsessed with endangered species and the extinct species that men killed off. Biology was the subject in school that I was incredibly passionate about. As a kid, I was going to be a marine biologist or an actor. When I became successful as an actor, I said, 'Well, maybe I can lend a voice to this with an equal passion.' You realize how lucky we are, and how destructive we've been, and what little regard we have for the natural world. In a lot of ways [environmental advocacy] becomes a form of spirituality. And here we are, in this unbelievably heavenly moment on planet Earth, and look how we're treating this utopia and the fellow life-forms that we live with. It's disheartening."
With all of his star power, the mag points out the Leo could have any woman he wants, do anything he wants… so why
Mostly the People's Choice Awards recognize excellence in the arts, but every once in a while you have to look at the stars' humanity!
