Actress Charlize Theron is the latest to speak up in support of gay marriage and against the California Supreme Court's decision to uphold Proposition 8!

Says Theron:

"I am deeply disappointed by the Supreme Court's ruling on Prop 8 today. I don't agree with homophobia or discrimination of any kind. I will continue to fight this fight for equality and speak up for the basic civil rights of all Americans."

We agree, continue the fight!

Could there be trouble in paradise for Charlize Theron and her beau? You know, Whatshisface!

The blonde hottie planned a secret and romantic vacation in Mexico for New Year's with her boyfriend of a really long time, 36 year-old Stuart Townsend. However, the two ended up arguing and bitching most of the time.

Theron and her guy stayed at an exclusive hotel in Tulum, Mexico. And it seems she even took her frustration out on the staff.

A source says, "She kicked off a few times and Stuart took the brunt of it all and didn’t look very happy. She began shouting about the lights not coming on in her room and was heard complaining about the water not being hot enough."

And the two reportedly didn't spend much time together either.

Charlize was off to golf and yoga classes while Stuart relaxed at the beach.

The couple returned to Los Angeles on New Year's Day.

If they call it quits in '09, we doubt Charlize will have any trouble finding a new guy - or girl!

Theron attended the Vogue magazine soiree at Skylight Studios in New York City.

Blonde beauty Charlize Theron was just named a United Nations messenger of peace this past Friday.

Theron's special focus will be on ending violence against women.

The messengers of peace consist of mainly 10 celebrities from films, music, sports and literature, who are responsible for promoting United Nations activities and goals through the media.

And it seems Theron cares about many causes, such as her involvement and effort to place mobile health clinics all over rural areas of South Africa, where access to health care is limited.

As for Theron's latest role as messenger of peace, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said of the actress, "You have used your voice, compassion and special relationship with the public to create a better world."

George Clooney, Michael Douglas, and Jane Goodall are among the other messengers of peace.

Glad to see some celebrities really are doing good.

Nicole Kidman is set to star alongside Charlize Theron in a movie called The Danish Girl.

It's based on the true story of Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener.

Nic will play a post-op transexual Einar in the movie. Charlize will play the role of Greta.

According to reports , Einar and Greta's marriage 'took a sharp left turn' after Einar stood in for a female model that Greta was supposed to paint.

Their portraits became wildly popular in 1920s Copenhagen and Greta encouraged her husband to adopt the female guise.

This 'game' led Einer to a metamorphosis and landmark 1931 transsexual operation that 'shocked the world and threatened their love.'

This should be quite inneresting!

Did her Hancock co-star, Will Smith, hook her up?

Variety reports that Charlize Theron is negotiating to star with Will's BFF, Tom Cruise, in a movie called The Tourist.

It's reportedly a remake of a French thriller.

The Oscar winner will play a female Interpol agent who uses an American tourist in an attempt to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair.

Eww.

Does that mean she's going to get sexy with Tommy boy?

We're definitely passing on this flick!

Last month, we mentioned that blonde beauty Charlize Theron was sued by watchmaker Raymond Weil for failing to live up to the terms outlined in an endorsement contract and that a NY judge said that she had to face the luxury goods company in court.

Well, according to new reports, the suit was settled on Tuesday, but the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The lawsuit is expected to be dismissed after the deal is finalized within 30 days.

We're dying to know how much she had to shell out to make this go away!

This case probably sent a shiver down the backs of all the other celebrity spokeswhores scattered across Hollywoodland!

Watch out celebrity endorsers!

One of your own, Charlize Theron, has been sued for $20 million for not following her celebrity endorsement contract to a tee, according to a new report.

Charlize has been whoring watches for the Swiss company Raymond Weil, but she pissed them off for failing to wear their watches 24/7.

The blonde beauty fought back in February, but last week a judge ruled that the proceedings must indeed go to trial.

Charlize has been ordered to appear in a NY Federal Court by the end of October.
