And then there were three…
This season of Dancing With The Stars has been exciting to say the least from all that Ryan Lochte drama to incredible performances and tears — but it's time to say goodbye again!

As season 23 of the hit dancing shows comes to a close, we unfortunately have to say farewell to another couple, but only because the finals are tonight!
Going into Monday, the couples that remained were Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko, Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold, Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy, and James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess.
While the race was REALLY close, sadly
Talk about heartbreak!
Monday night's Dancing With The Stars was a doozy — and not just because it was the episode leading up to the finals!
While we've had PLENTY of spectacular moments all season, last night somehow raised the bar again as we received a few flawless performances, including a couple from Laurie Hernandez and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy!

But it wasn't all good times as one of the most heartbreaking moments of the season came when the video package for Hernandez's dance showed the Olympian visiting her grandma, Brunilda Hernandez, for what would be the last time. The 16-year-old's grandma suffered from Alzheimer's disease and passed away the day after their interview. The young athlete was visibly upset and even broke down after her dance. Awww!
Unfortunately, there was bad news on the dancing front as well as one unlucky couple had to be sent home. Sadly
Season 23 of Dancing With The Stars sure has been exciting with perfect scores and some controversy, and Monday night's episode kept the good times going as they went Broadway for Showstoppers Night!
As usual, there were plenty of incredible performances like Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy's PERFECT Tango, or Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko's impressive Waltz. That's right, Gleb scored a 40 WITH an injured knee!

But what we REALLY loved was the Team-Up Challenge that paired Laurie and Val with Kramer and Savchenko as they did a contemporary dance — and yes, of course the foursome scored a perfect 40! That means both pairs of dancers earned two perfects on the night!
Sadly, another couple had to say goodbye and this week that pair was

In an uncommon twist, Dancing with the Stars has yet to lose any celebrity contestants to injuries so far this season, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for all of their pro partners.
Just days after Sharna Burgess was forced to abandon James Hinchcliffe at the Top 6 due to a knee injury, Jana Kramer's partner Gleb Savchenko just did the exact same thing!

The country singer and ballroom dancer each shared the not-so-good knee news on social media Thursday, with Jana simply saying:
"This. Is. not. A. Happy. Photo. ;(."
Gleb elaborated about his temporary timeout a little more in his Instagram post, writing:

But while Season 1 relied on those three standout castmembers to make a splash, the Season 2 cast already seems more famous and even single-r!
We're happy to report that Tiffany "New York" Pollard, The Bachelorette supervillain Chad Johnson, and Khloé Kardashian's BFF Malika Haqq from Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be just three of the reality stars looking for love next time around.
And believe it or not, they're not the only familiar faces!
That's because they'll be joined by none other than
Talk about jam packed show!
Every week, it seems Dancing With The Stars gets better and better and Monday night's performances certainly kicked things up a notch with 3 PERFECT SCORES!

Of course there was a bit of other drama before our favorite celebs got their dance on as Val Chmerkovskiy broke down a bit talking about not wanting to let his partner, Laurie Hernandez, down! Val admitted:
