Dance is quickly becoming a more popular music genre but it's kind of like Rodney Dangerfield.
It takes a while before it gets some respect!
The 2012 Grammys will be the first show that features a music segment from the dance genre.
So who will represent the dance genre?! Deadmau5 and David Guetta!

That's not a pun. They actually caused tremors with their rockin' music!
According to two seismic stations outside the Western Springs stadium, during the Foo Fighter's Monday night show in Auckland, New Zealand, a strong low frequency of tremors were detected at the time of the show. The tremors actually corresponded to the highs and lows of the band's performance, with the levels reaching the same frequency of volcanic activity.
Whoa! Fire! LAVA FIRE! That's definitely something for Dave Grohl to blog about!
That sure as hell has to be more motivation to make their upcoming album!

Dave Grohl has confirmed via the band's official blog that the band is working on some new material to release in 2012. Though things are in the early stages, he seems confident that he and the other Fighters can write and record a new album in the coming year.
On the blog, he writes:

It's no secret Courtney Love is very protective of her Nirvana rights. So fans might be pretty shocked to read this one.
After hearing rumors that X Factor producers were wishing for the rights to Nirvana music, Courtney responded.
She's offering Simon Cowell some rights to In Bloom for X Factor contestant Janet Devlin!
She tweets:
So yesterday we told you all about Courtney Love storming off the stage after a fan threw up at Kurt Cobain poster at a Hole concert.
The only way to get her back on was to chant, "The Foo Fighters are gay!"
For those of you somehow unaware, Foo Fighters is the band helmed by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
And if you've been keeping up with the Nirvanas, you know Courtney and Dave have never exactly been the biggest fans of each other. And that's putting it lightly…
So when a reporter asked Courtney to explain her animosity toward Dave, she went OFF!
…but none of her clothes came off, so we're proud of her for that!
See what she does in the video above!
It's been nearly 20 years since Kurt Cobain tragically passed and his widow proves she's still feeling the pain.
Courtney Love traveled down to São Paulo , Brazil to perform with her band, Hole, and a picture of the late Cobain sparked some unwanted memories.
Love stormed off stage but not before giving the fan holding the picture the bird and saying the following:
I don't need to see a picture of Kurt, asshole, and I'm gonna have you fucking removed if you keep holding it up. I'm not Kurt. I have to live with his fucking shit, and his ghost, and his kid, every day
Love then told the fan to go see the Foo Fighters, band of former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. After a chant of "Foo Fighters are gay" Love came back and flashed her ta-tas to the Brazilians later in the show.
Check out the video above to see the full tirade caught on tape.
